I think I really lucked out with my teachers. They were both interesting and had creative ways of teaching. Karlita had us teach sometimes. Fredy had us interview people about concepts or vocab, so much fun. My favorite part was when we would stray from the grammar and Fredy would talk about history and Mayan Culture & the civil war. That is what I emailed home about all the history I was learning! They were patient with our mistakes, encouraged us to talk more. I will definitely be back someday. I will pass on this information to everyone in my home town! Thank you!

What I loved about my exprience at COINED Guatemala was the hospitlity and the feeling of community and family. All of the staff and teachers truly care about each other and the students, and this environment is extremely beficial to the learning process. It was also easy to see that everyone here loves their work. I learned a lot of Spanish in jus two weeks, and I enjoyed every second of it.

The school is good. I learned much Spanish language. The teachers are very helpful in every aspect of our study, as well as with our stay in Antigua. I enjoyed the schhol much, It has students of all ages and from nay different countries. The house where I stay was algo good. The family was friendly, and the food was excellent.-

Overall the experience was excellent. The teachers all good (Alma, Diego, Flor & Francisco) and the classes weree fund and educational. My homestay was also very good. My only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the lighting at school and at the homestay. My eyes are 67 years old and need lots of light.

We committed to COINED based on the recommendation of a friend and were delighted to also have such a positive experience. The staff went out of their way to be friendly, engaging and welcoming and the teachers were a balance between patient and encouranging, clearly personally inveted in your success. I had a wonderful time here in Guatemala. COINED was definately a good choice for me. I learned a lot an had fun. The teachers here have ways of putting smiles on your face. I will miss them it's simular to leaving a family behind.

My experience with COINED was really good. When I first arrived in Guatemala I did not speak Spanish, but after 5 weeks of classes I can understand and speak Spanish. The teachers at COINED are really good. They are patient, creative and fun. If you do not like your classes of something else, they will try their best to change it for you. I would definitely recommend this school to my friend. Es muy bueno!!!

This was my third stay at the school and I have only the highest praise for the school, the directors and the professors. I studied at two other schools in Antigua, and multiple schools elsewhere (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama and Chile) and have found COINED in Anigua to be the best. If you are reading this... I am jealous of you that you are planning a tripo to Antigua and would highly recommend COINED in Antigua

I very much enjoyed my time at COINED from the minute I walked in the door, I was welcomed in, by name, and showed around the school while learning about the eventos of the week to come. I was assured if I had any problems or questions the rhere was always someone available to help. The host family was incredible and imperative to my experience in Antigua. The combination fo my homestay, classes, excursions, and the clinic led to a very comprehensive learning environment. They were also very flexible if ever I desired to change time or excursions. I only wish I could stay longer to learn + see more! Muchas gracias!!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Antigua is a fantastic place, extraordinarily beautiful. The school is excellent and the teachers terrific. The entire staff could not have been more helpful The activities for all students almost every day were interesting and should not be missed. I just wish I could stay longer!

The teachers are very proffesional and use a right amount of humor and fun in their classes. I expected to learn a lot of vocabulary and felt that there was not enough of it. At the same time, did not expect to learn so much grammar which was good.
